Swamy J Gowda

Swamy J Gowda (born on 1 July 1988) is an Indian Cinematographer who works predominantly in Kannada cinema. Swamy made his debut with ''Vajrakaaya'' (2014). His well-known films include Vajrakaaya, Jai Maruthi 800, Upendra Matte Baa, Anjaniputra, Seetharama Kalyana, Bhajarangi 2, James (2022 film), Vedha (2022 film).

Career

Swamy completed his diploma in cinematography from Government Film and Television Institute, in 2008 from Bengaluru. He subsequently became active in the corporate film industry. He made his feature film debut when A. Harsha signed him as the cinematographer for his movie, ''Vajrakaaya'' (2015) after which he went on to become a part of many successful films. His work in "Seetarama Kalyana", '''Bhajarangi 2'', ''James'' and ''Vedha'' were highly acclaimed, he was soon signed by Telugu filmmaker KK Radha Mohan for the Gopichand - starrer ''Gopichand 31''.
